Micro-Budget Thriller “The 13th Cross” by Utah Filmmaker picked up by Mutiny Pictures & Premiering at the Desertscape Film Festival Friday, July 31st

The premiere of Joseph DeGolyer’s $9,000 debut feature film The 13th Cross, produced by Space Titanium Productions with a small crew of UVU Film School graduates, will be held in St. George on July 31st, 2020. Actors Eric Wood (known for Out of Liberty) and Chelsea Jurkiewicz (known for Abigail Haunting) star.

Joseph DeGolyer recently revealed a teaser trailer of the movie this week on his Youtube Channel:

The 13th Cross is a dramatic thriller that has been described as “dark”, “provocative”, and “incredibly thrifty” by The Desertscape Film Festival.

The film includes the beloved Utah actors Antonio Lexerot and Jason Wixom, and popular podcaster Kaleb Schweiss. Narration is provided by William Rowan Jr., who produced the acclaimed documentary Cleanflix, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in 2009. The 13th Cross also includes a slew of new faces, including Melanie Browning and Tyler Dane. Producers are Paige Cabanilla, Joseph DeGolyer, Parker Peterson, Kees Limburg, and Jim Ly. Joseph DeGolyer directs and is the primary writer, with some additional writing by Paige Cabanilla.

“The 13th Cross” has been picked up for distribution by Ben Yennie’s new company, Mutiny Pictures.
